Contest Site

We have partnered with the music department at Flour Bluff High School for over 30 year as our Festival host.  The site provides easy bus access, close in parking, and is centrally located between the beach and downtown. The site has small changing rooms, restrooms, and a large warm up room. Once inside, students never have to leave the building, helping with instrument acclimation and tuning.

The auditorium is excellent for performing ensembles. It has a large stage with easy access from the warm-up room. The hall is slightly bright, giving ensembles a richness and vibrancy to their performance.  Our first class recording engineers work to capture the best qualities of your ensemble to make sure you have a recording you and your students will enjoy for a lifetime. A number of Texas Honor Bands and Honor Orchestras have made their winning recording in this hall, proving the high quality of the facility.
